Wall's late 3 leads Wiz past Celtics 92-91, forces Game 7

The Celtics know they have Game 7 in Boston in their back pocket, so their intensity may wane when the Wiz get things rolling early.

John Wall didn't just recognize the pending pressure of an elimination game, he embraced it. If Boston wins, the Cavs would play there in Game 1 of the conference finals Monday.

The Wizards' human blur, better known by the masses as John Wall, sprinted down the court and threw up a shot in traffic that was deflected by Boston's Al Horford as time expired to preserve Boston's slimmest of leads, 42-41 at the half. "At the time we were competing for the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, and there had been a lot of talk about them and us and our team". Wall sank the game-winning 3-point shot.

Over their last two trips to the postseason, the Wizards are 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS in 10 playoff home games per the OddsShark NBA Database. "I just wanted this city to know that we love them for all the support they gave us and they're awesome fans".

Wall overcame a 1-for-12 start to finish with 26 points, and Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 33. Bradley and Thomas both made 3-pointers during that stretch, and they each scored 27 points for the game.

Wizards and Celtics to go the distance
I think we eliminate those runs and cut down on our turnovers, that puts us in a better position to win those games. They've played a total of 10 times, including the regular season, and the home team has won each time (5-5).

Thomas didn't make excuses after the miss. "Honestly, I did", he said.

"Not many guys can do that", Brooks said.

Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas, left, pushes against Washington Wizards guard John Wall during the first half of Game 6 of an NBA basketball second-round playoff series, Friday, May 12, 2017, in Washington.

Wall's late-game heroics followed a valiant effort by the Celtics' Al Horford, who made an absurd, off-the-glass jumper to stake Boston to a 91-89 lead.

"Great shot by a great player", Celtics coach Brad Stevens said. "He didn't get the opportunity to get open and I didn't want to get a five-second violation". They hadn't really been doing that all game.

What a Google Fuchsia preview reveals
There's a split-screen mode as well, and the Home screen is a vertical list of cards (apps), with the User profile in the center. Very little is known about Fuchsia , including big questions like whether or not it's created to replace Android entirely.

"I think Avery's heels were on the 3-point line", Crowder said.

"We had yet to get a good start this entire series". We did everything we wanted at that time and score of the game.

The Wizards had a foul to give, and Oubre was able to foul Olynyk and disrupt the play before the Celtics forward could grab the ball and put up a shot. The victor will tip off the Eastern Conference finals Wednesday in Cleveland. But he's a victor and he plays to win. Now Thomas and the Celtics' resiliency will truly be tested.

Thomas was too hard on himself. "You still have to make them uncomfortable".

"If [winning] was easy, it would be for everybody and it's not". Just because you're at home doesn't guarantee anything.

Trump may meet top Russian diplomat in White House
Trump has said he has no ties to Russia and isn't aware of any involvement by his aides in any Russian election interference. Still, the overlap between the investigation and Trump's diplomatic efforts made for uncomfortable optics.

The hosts have won all 10 games between the Wizards and Celtics this season. Boston players pleaded ignorance on the fashion statement before Friday's game, but the significance was obvious: This was a chance to bury the Wizards, a team the Celtics beefed with throughout the 2016-17 season. But instead, a winner-take-all Game 7 will decide matters in the Eastern Conference semifinal series. "You've got to get back and not compound that miss with a defensive lapse". I guess that's where legends are born.
