Police early Wednesday arrested a 30-year-old man in east London in connection to the attack and are searching his home. However, authorities have yet to announce whether the attack was coordinated by the militant group's operatives in Iraq or Syria, or by a UK-based cell.

Zaghba "was not a police or MI5 subject of interest", according to the Metropolitan Police.
