Google is now working on developing the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel XL 2 smartphones. Additionally Google could ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack on this phone. It looks like the bigger Google Pixel 2, which is code-named "Taimen" will feature a 1440p OLED panel with a 5.99-inch display size. Now a person who has spent time with at least one model of the upcoming phone has revealed the specification of Google Pixel XL 2 and its smaller sibling.

Otherwise, a single camera, 4GB of RAM, Snapdragon 835 and smaller bezels are also set for the larger handset, the source says. Latest news indicates that many details about the phones, including their display sizes have leaked. Besides, Google might pack its upcoming devices to rival the likes of the iPhone 7, OnePlus 5, Samsung with features such as dual-lens cameras, along with increased RAM and storage. Google is adding stereo speakers to the device this time. However, the Pixel XL 2 would be made by LG.

Existing Home Sales Rise More than Forecast, Prices Hit New High
Unsold inventory is at a 4.2-month supply at the current sales pace, down from 4.7 months a year ago. Mortgage rates rose after last year's presidential election but edged down in recent months.

There will be a 128GB storage model, however, one could expect different storage configurations as well.

Comparatively, the Pixel 2, or Walleye, will have the same 4.97-inch display with Full HD resolution as its predecessor, with the design being "almost identical" to the original Pixel. There's no guarantee of when we'll get an official announcement of the next generation Pixel phones, but if Google sticks to the release schedule of past year it's a safe bet they'll be debuting sometime in September or October. All that said, Google fans are looking forward to the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2, both of which have been the subject of numerous leaks and rumors in recent weeks.

Fed: Biggest US banks strong enough to withstand recession
Bank executives and many investors hope the Fed will allow lenders to put a lot more capital toward stock buybacks and dividends. Banks now have an opportunity to resubmit those plans if they find their own projections were much sunnier than the Fed's.

The Walleye phone will be the follow up to the regular Pixel from a year ago. As soon as we have new information regarding the smartphones we will let you know. So while there used to be three fish based codenamed - Taimen, Muskie, and Walleye - to denote three devices in the making, it seems there will be the Taimen and Walleye that would eventually get to see the light of day. There's also rumblings that Google will launch a cheaper variant with slimmed down specs in order to tempt the more budget-conscious users. However, the glass window is placed near the top and not encloses the fingerprint scanner like what previous reports said.

Google is very much a participant in the smartphone wars even if it does not go blazing into battle with the biggest, baddest artillery.
