A 25-year-old woman who resides in Louisville, Alabama and had been missing for nearly a month has been found alive, according to the Bullock County Sheriff's Office.

"I don't think she could have made it much longer", Garner said of Theris after finding the Louisville, Alabama, woman after finding her on the side of a Bullock County highway. Sheriff Raymond Rodgers said.

Missing for upwards of a month, Theris a radiology student told of being bereft of shoes or shelter for up to 28 days, surviving off berries and wild mushrooms in dense forest in Alabama's Midway, Bullock County district.

Officials did not release any other details about her connection to the burglars or about how she survived in the woods. "She said she ate berries and drank muddy water", Garner said.

The men said Lisa didn't know about the break-in and didn't want to be a part of it. Davis and Oswald were later arrested for the burglary, in which they were accused of stealing $40,00 worth of items from the lodge. "She stayed, and I called 911 and told them I had found a girl on the road".

"Words can not describe the happiness and relief we feel that she has been found and returned to us".

"Her will to live was strong, when you have a will to live and a will to survive. We wanted to make sure her health was in the best shape and in the days to come, we'll get some answers", Sergeant Chad Faulkner, the lead investigator on the case said, praising her resiliency.

She said she spent the last four weeks trying to navigate her way out of the woods but ended up going around in circles. Lisa was last seen on July 18 near in the community of Midway, about 35 miles southeast of Montgomery.

She told police she was on the move during the time she was lost, trying to get help.

"Oh man, it was the most surreal moment of my life", Will Theris told the BuzzFeed News about the moment he learned that his 25-year-old sister had been found alive. Finally the young lady has been found and she's alive. "Finally, the young lady has been found and she's alive", Sheriff Rogers said.

At 3:43 p.m. on August 12, Theris' brother, Will Theris, posted two messages to social media expressing his relief that she had been found. When she learned of their plan, she fled and got lost in the unfamiliar terrain. Williams said none of Theris' injuries were severe, according to BuzzFeed News. "And maybe she could give us some insight and fill in the blank spaces". The two men, Manley Davis and Randall Oswald, have since been captured and charged. "There is not an inch of her that has not been affected".

"Her will to live was strong", he said.
