On Tuesday, AFP reported a statement from a rights groups that, "A woman and two children were killed and two women and two children were injured when an air strike by the Saudi-led coalition hit a house in Talan village". The World Health Organization estimates almost 8,400 civilians have been killed and 47,800 wounded since the Saudi-led alliance intervened.

Worldwide rights groups have accused the Saudi-led coalition of bombing civilian areas including public gatherings, markets, hospitals and residential areas across Yemen since the aerial campaign against Houthi rebels began in 2015.

In a statement, Malki said that the Arab coalition adopts rules of engagement in accordance with the provisions of global humanitarian law.
