The declaration comes after Trump this week threatened to shut down the government if Congress doesn't fund the wall - despite his previous insistence that Mexico would be the one to fund the barrier. He promised not just a wall but also that Mexico would pay for it.

"With Mexico being one of the highest crime nations in the world, we must have THE WALL", Trump posted on Twitter. "Mexico will pay for it through reimbursement/other". In a press conference, perhaps with a freshly pardoned Sheriff Joe Arpaio by his side, he will announce that the wall is finally being built, "big attractive door" and all.

And yet, with all that sturm und drang in the background-unnecessary political drama that, ultimately, could damage the United States' financial stability-Trump declared that he and Nick Adams, the author of a 2016 book predicting his future success, are happy with how things are going.
