China-based TCL Communications, which has global rights to BlackBerry phone brand, on Sunday launched a new smartphone, called the BlackBerry Motion.

As can be seen in the render below, the Motion doesn't feature particularly thin bezels on the front, although the top bezel is certainly thinner than the KeyOne.

Rumors that BlackBerry would release an all-touchscreen smartphone have been floating around since August, and today we're finally getting more details on the upcoming handset. The 5.5-inch display offers a Full HD resolution and a 401 ppi pixel density. It is powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage. Out of the box, it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and it will be upgraded to Android Oreo in the new year.

The frontside of the phone includes an 8-megapixel selfie camera. However, a new report coming from a reliable source suggests BlackBerry Motion will be launched in the United States. That means all the great apps and features of the Google operating system but with the guarantee of BlackBerry level security apps throughout.
