Patna University readies to welcome PM storied alumni for centenary celebrations

He also lauded Nitish Kumar for his commitment towards the development of the state. PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for several developmental projects.

Referring to Ganga, Modi said: "If there was no Ganga, I do not know what condition our land would have been in".

Attacking the former Prime Ministers, Modi said that the former Prime Ministers were gone, but they left much good work for him. "We intend to do the same for our universities and ensure that our centres of higher learning figure among the best 500 in the world", Modi said. "This university has nurtured students who have contributed greatly to the nation", he said.
